You can help keep the microtransit system running!
Microtransit service will end June 30 unless riders tell their Legislators how important the service is to them.
Microtransit Pilot programs across the state include:
GBT Connect, GHTD Link, HOP, New London Smart Ride , StamFORWARD, VIA NHV, VTD2GO, Wheels 2 U, XtraMile East Hampton, XtraMile Madison & Guilford and XtraMile Middletown.
You can make a difference by asking your State Senator and Representative to Vote Yes on Senate Bill 009 — An act supporting commuters and micro-transit services.
Senate Bill 009 will provide the State Department of Transportation with enough money to let Micro-transits keep bringing you to and from work, doctor appointments, grocery stores and more.
How can you help? Tell us how you use the microtransit service and what it would mean for you if the service ended. We’ll make sure it gets to your Legislator.
You can keep it brief, something like “Without the microtransit service I couldn’t get to work.”
Or, “I live alone and I don’t have a car. Microtransit gets me to my doctor’s appointments and to the grocery store. I don’t know what I would do without microtransit”
