RVT is excited to announce service changes and expansions coming May 28th, 2024. During the fall, we presented our expansion and change proposal to the public. Following your comments and final funding agreements with the Connecticut Department of Transportation, we’ve developed changes that include:
- Expanded weeknight service in Middletown
- Updated Saturday Middletown routes
- Saturday night service in Middletown
- Sunday service in Middletown and on the 641 route

In addition to our fixed route changes, we are also launching a pilot XtraMile expansion. XtraMile, our popular microtransit service, will be adding new hours to the Middletown zone and two new zones! The expansions include:
- Service throughout Madison and Guilford
- Service in the Belltown section of East Hampton
- Expanded days and hours in the Middletown service zone
